[ ... in actuality, he doesn't care. Mao can go get herself killed if she wants. Akechi would rather sit back and let them all destroy themselves. ]

The bathrooms don't have cameras, you know.

[Is this a bad idea? Probably but no one can say Mao Ninagawa was a coward.]

[ And true to his word, when the fated time comes, he's there. ]

[She's waiting there for him. With her is a cell phone she had regained.]

Of course. Can you really live up to those boasts, I wonder. I'm honestly curious.

[She had spent the last half hour practicing, just seeing if she really could do it still. She gives a slight nod, gesturing to the wall behind her.]

Obviously this wall isn't tampered with but--

[She steps away, snapping her fingers. Almost immediately there was a spray of plaster as there's now a fist sized dent in the wall. Mao wasn't going to go full force in a closed space. She's not dumb.]

Ah--

[ ... well, how about that. Akechi crosses his arms, looking a touch thoughtful. If he made her mad, or made an enemy of her, Mao Ninagawa could easily do that to him. And he would really rather not be a splatter on the ground. ]

Impressive, Ninagawa-san. You have me convinced. But I assume that's not your limit...?

Thank you, Akechi-san.

[There is a certain amount of pride when she straightens up her stance. Mao's power paled in comparison to a certain magical girl's but, well. It did help her save the world, after all.]

Of course it's not. I was thinking that if this entire complex was leveled there was no way they would have the resources to punish me.
